pain in middle of chect when taking a deep breath

Hi I have been experencing a pain in the middle of my chest when I take a breath. This has just started in the last 24 hours. I have been having sinus congestion for the last few days and have been very tired. I am a 49 year old female. I am a former smoker. I guit 3 years ago.
