Cant pull back penis skin

Hi, I'm 13 and I recently found out that you are supposed to be able to pull back the skin on your penis... I tried doing this multiple times, but half way passed the head, It starts to hurt... I'm getting very worried, Is this normal? Is there something wrong with me? Please help :S
