Hello, folks. My cat some allergy on his skin and our vet recommends steroids among other medications. I am not sure how steroids affect cats. Are side effects possible with these animals? Since I am new at this, I really hope someone will answer my post. Thank you for replying. Bye!

My dog is very old now, and has recently had some problems with rheumatism. My vet suggested that he can prescribe some steroids to help with the joint pain if I want. I don't want my dog to suffer and want him to have a comfortable old age. But with steroids, I am quite worried about side effects....
