Prescription Stimulants

Prescription stimulants are drugs that make you more alert and wakeful. They stimulate both the central nervous system and sympathetic nervous system and often produce euphoric feelings. Stimulants are used to treat narcolepsy and other sleep disorders and help patients with ADD or ADHD. The most used stimulants are Ritalin, Concerta, Adderall and Adderall XR although there are some improved drugs called eugeroics. Modafinil and adrafinil, marketed as Provigil and Olmifon belong to this class.

I am so concerned with the fact that my son is only 9 and he already has to use stimulants. He is on adderall 10mg but I think it is high dosage for him. I've been on adderall for about 30 days now, and it has been making me angry, really fast. And it makes my patience with people, very small. Even my friends have noticed this. If you annoy me just a bit, i get angry too fast. I'm not like moody, i JUST get angry. Is this normal?
