I am a week late on my period and at times my breast are extemely tender and painfull and has a burning sensation. I am also experiencing period like pain/cramps. I should problem take a test, but I've only been trying for a month and don't want to get my hopes up. Any thoughts?

Is Anencephaly indication to abort the pregnancy?

A friend of mine, who is diabetic, was recently told her fetus suffers from Anencephaly. I was wondering whether this means she is going to have to abort the pregnancy? I really wish she would have a healthy baby, but apparently there is pretty much no hope for this baby.

Can atrioventricular canal defect be present in Down syndrome?

If an atrioventricular canal defect is diagnosed on an ultrasound during pregnancy, does this also mean that there is a higher chance of Down Syndrome in the fetus? This is what I thought, but since I am not sure I thought I would ask you all to share your knowledge with me. Thank you in advance.
