Why dark spot?

2 days after my periods, i got brown spots.... We are seriously trying for a baby now.... Will the dark spot stop me from getting pregnant?... why such dark spots?? We had sex during th fourth day of my periods? Is it infectious? Is this the reason for dark spot??? Kindly help me out....
