Sedative (Depressant) and Antidepressant Dependence

Sedatives (depressants) are drugs that that suppress the central nervous system, causing the body to slow down and relax, relieving anxiety and producing sleep. The most commonly used/abused are barbiturates (Amytal, Nembutal, Seconal, phenobarbital) and benzodiazepines (Ativan, Halcion, Librium, Valium, Xanax, Rohypnol) but also chloral hydrate, glutethimide (Doriden), methaqualone and meprobamate. Talk about sedative dependence on this forum.

I've been on klotopin for several years

I've been on klotopin for several years. I was taking 4 1mg tablets 4 times a day. Now I've been weened off of them with .5's now I'm officially off of them and I can't stop sweating or shaking or shaking this bad depression feeling.
