Bumps on my finger that wont go away

hi when i was younger i used to chew my finger, now there are lumps on the side of my index finger where the teeth were. ive stopped chewing my teeth now but the bumps are still there and have been for years and wont dissapear. Does anyone know a way of getting rid of them
