i got bitten by a bug a few days ago and now i have this huge hard red lump which has appeared around the original bite.. it really hurts when touched and i cant walk very well as the area wont move and after a few steps i become very dizzy and have to sit down... what is it??

My legs are constantly itching. I know it's not good to scratch because that tears up the skin, but OMG!! Are they just dry? At college, I live in an AC dorm room.
