pocket of blood( 5 oz. )near microdisectomy incision

Two weeks after the surgery I experienced severe pain in right hip down to ny calf. I went to the surgeon and he drained about 5 ounces of blood which relieved my pain for the most part. Will this happen again, and why did this happen again?

Thoracic/Lumbar fusion; Did it relieve your pain?

I'm just curious if anyone here has had good luck with fusion relieving your pain. My sergeon has determined that I need from T6 to L2 o.O fused. Of course, pain is the issue, and my sergeon can't promise ANY relief. So it seems like a terrible idea going forward with this. But I here it does...

Would there be scar tissue after cervical laminectomies

As the result of spontaneous spinal epidural hematoma, emergency laminectomies were performed on C1.3,5,7 and T 2. This was 6 months ago, and the neck pain is still there....would it be scar tissue, or worse? Don't know where to turn.
