Testicles itchy and turning dark black

My left testicle how been very itchy lately and suddenly turning dark black or purplish ever since. Im 13 years old and am wondering if this has any relation to Puberty? I cannot stop the itch and it feels like it goes worse the more I itch it? Please help.
