this mucus in the back of the throat ailment, appears to be something the doctors in the U.K. are unable to diagnose, they also put it down to allegies etc, rubbish....it is very distressing, particularly when you lie down, it feels has though your throat will block up and you can no longer swallow...

Thick mucous gets worse when I eat! Gets stuck in throat and I spit ALL the time.I choke easily too!

I have multiple autoimmune disorders and for at least a year I've been having issues with thick saliva, choking and when I eat I get this disgusting rush of mucous. I have to go spit several times while eating. This can be a rather lengthy process. I spit all throughout the day and evening as well....
