Whenever I swallow, my ear and throat hurt. I don't have a lump. I'm also burping A LOT. It all started this morning and I just hope it's like a cold or something. Do you know what it might be? And how long it will be here?

I have been spitting up white pea-size chunks with a foul odor from my throat for over a year. These chunks usually come when I am coughing or sneezing. i have had a sore chest accompanied by coughing, it is not producing any phlegm, but my breathing sounds terrible, i do not have nasal conjestion but my muscles ache and have been breaking out in sweats. my throat is very sore also, what could this be?
