Hi there, I had surgery to remove the right side of my thyroid on July 21 (not quite one week ago). I was diagnosed hypothyroidism in May so have had very little time to get used to anything! I am now taking synthroid (.100 mg daily) for two weeks then .150. I also take 5 mcg of Cytomel daily....

I have just successfully had my entire thyroid removed. Now I am faced with diet and weight problems. Is there help out there besides Levoxyl to restore my metabolism? Will t-3 work with Levoxyl or should I go back to Armour thyroxine?
