I had my thyroid removed 7 weeks ago, and I still don't have my voice back totally. I also cannot sing, or laugh yet. How unusual is that? Should I seek advice from an Ear Nose and Throat Doctor? :-( My voice has been very slowly getting better, but is still high compared to my normal low voice....

I am three weeks post op full thyroidectomy, papillary cancer both lobes. Since coming home I've noticed an unusual odor to my breath. Can this be from synthroid? My son tells me my breath smells like his creepy crawlers set! My dental hygene is good, this occurs even after I've brushed! :$
