Five year old kid with diabetes

Hi, folks. I am desperate. My kid has been diagnosed with diabetes. I know that this is tough disease and I know that I will have to restrict his diet. How can I forbid to my kid many things when he hasn’t still tried most of them? How do you handle such tough diseases of your kids? Thanks.

He peed normally until third year of age

What can be done for overweighed children and shortness of their sleep?

I must say that I feel guilty now that my kid is overweighted because of allowing him to eat all that he wants. He does not have too much extra weight, but it looks like it is just enough for him to have problems with sleep. What can be done for overweighted children and shortness of sleep?

must I keep my 5 week old away from his 2 year old cousins (who are not sick) to avoid infections?

Our Dr. said to keep the baby away from his cousins for 12 weeks. If they don't touch him, or wash hands first, can they be in the same room? They have no visible illness.
