Hey, I've had tonsillitis for 2 days now, and I haven't been craving a smoke neither have I had one but now it's the 3rd day today & I'm crazing more and more to just have a few puffs of a smoke. Think it would harm me as much as having a full cigarette to myself?

I am have a tonsillectomy at age 61 due to tonsil stones causing severe halitosis. I have tried everything. Yes I am nervous but if this takes care of my problem I will be happy. I am healthy but still it is a risk. Anyone else with this experience?! Ellen
