period every 2 months and trying to get preg!

Before I was on birth control I would get my period every 2 months. Birth control regulated it, somewhat. Stopped taking BC in Jan 07 and trying to get preg. Last period began March 19. When do I ovulate? When should I try to get preg? Can I only try every 2 months? Going to the doc next week.
