pregnancy test error

My last period was nov.4-8th. I had unprotected sex multiple times before during and after then. I get horrible headaches and crazy mood swings. I have gained 8-12 pounds.. I just took a pregnancy test actually two different kinds and both said negative. Could I be pregnant? Is it too soon to test?
