celiac hair growth

Hi, guys. My husband has been diagnosed with celiac disease and I must admit that he has been experiencing some hair loss. I was wondering if we can expect some hair regrowth. Will it happen in remissions if it happens at all? I hope to hear some good news here. Thank you in advance.

Treatment with vitamin D for Albers-Schonberg disease?

Someone recently told me that Vitamin D is sometimes used in the treatment of Albers-Schonberg disease, which fascinated me. I can see how a vitamin can help bone structures rebuild themselves, but isn't the problem with Albers-Schonberg disease that the bones are too dense? So how does this work?...

Keratoconjuctivitis as a part of auto immune polyendocrinopathy syndrome type 1?

Are there any people here who are experts on auto immune polyendocrinopathy syndrome type 1? If so, please tell me if auto immune polyendocrinopathy syndrome type 1 can cause keratoconjuctivitis or not? I strongly suspect that this is what happened to a family member but I have no proof that the two...

lose parental rights

Hi to you all, can anyone tell me more about the process of fostering to adopt? A friend mentioned this possibility to me as a cheaper and in some ways easier method of adopting domestically. I understand that often, with foster care, it is unclear whether the birth family will lose parental rights...

hypersensitivity vasculitis emedicine

I just read on emedicine that in up to half of all diagnosed hypersensitivity vasculitis cases, they never ever find a cause! I find this rather disturbing myself. Does anyone know if there is any indication that this disease existed at all, let's say a couple of hundred years ago? I wonder what...

headache on one side of my head

Doers anybody recognise this? I have been getting all these headaches on one side of my head. I tried looking this up, and I got some scary results! Some websites even seem to say that such headaches can indicate brain tumours, but I am sure this isn't what I have. It seems to be linked to stress at...
