I just read on emedicine that in up to half of all diagnosed hypersensitivity vasculitis cases, they never ever find a cause! I find this rather disturbing myself. Does anyone know if there is any indication that this disease existed at all, let's say a couple of hundred years ago? I wonder what made hypersensitivity vasculitis come into being.
