how do i reduce a swollen lip in less than 8 hours?

This is really ridiculous question! It sound like how to built a house in 40 minutes??? Well, first of all, you should determine why do you have swollen lip? Swollen lip is kinda of reaction, or a symptom of something.
Do you have any other symptoms? Do you use any medications? This could be allergic reaction on meds. Here is the list of meds that could provoke the lip swelling:
