My husband has been taking diazapam for almost a year now. He is addicted and wants to get off the drugs. He wants to quit cold turkey. I need to know of any medical effects that could happen if he quits cold turkey?

Loratab addiction

I have someone who is addicted to Loratab. 10 mg. He is taking up to 20 a day. I think he was about to overdose. Now he is wanting to come off of them. He is miserable. Please help if you have any type of home remedy that you might know of.
