side effects of erythromycin 250mg

I am allergic to penicillin and have now been prescribed erythromycin 250 mg instead. I do know that I really need the antibiotics in this case and it is unavoidable really, but I am still worried. Are there any side effects of erythromycin? Is there any chance I am allergic to this as well?
