When will plantar fasciitis return to normal?

I have been in an aircast for plantar fasciitis for 5 weeks and a night splint when I sleep. With all the stretching exercises (1/2 hour a day) I still have heel pain. Will this ever return to normal? I am used to walking 4-5 miles a day and this is killing me! Anyone out there with a hopeful...

sound came out of knee

Every time i move my right knee up and down, a weird sound comes out of my knee. I can't hear it clearly but if I put my ear by my knee and move my knee up and down, I can hear the sound. Sound like a solid object is scratching something. Any idea why? by the way i play tennis a lot too.
