I'm a teenager and I've been a sprinter since I was a little kid. I run 100m. I have bunions on both feet but the one on the left foot toe joint is much worse than the right. Are there any sprinters or runners who can tell me from experience how my sprinting will be affected if I get it removed? I have ambitions for higher level competitions in the future. Would I have to train back up to my usual speed then resume regular training, or be permanently slowed down? Thank you :-D
