Ingrown toe nail

I was wondering what I should do. I had surgery for an ingrown toe nail about 1 yr ago. It has grown back wrong and the pain is worse. Ex The weight of my blankets were on my toe and it woke me up hurting. Do I have to go through the surgery again or is there something else I can do. ANYONE????
