Bunions, scarfe op on foot

I had a scarfe op on my left foot on 1st December. My foo is still too swollen to wear trainers which I have been advised to do. Should I still keep the foot elevated all the time? I have been walking around the house quite a lot with the aid of crutches.

Hi, I am 31 years old, and I am dealing with chronic back pain a little longer than five months. I am stressed and depressed all the time. It sometimes hurts so badly, I wish I were dead! If there is anybody who suffers with the same problem as me, please advise me what to do!
