What is the Perthes disease prognosis?

Hi, folks. My nephew had some problems with hip pain. After some tests, he was diagnosed with the Perthes disease. I have never heard about this disease before, so I have a lot of uncertainties. I would like to know something more about the prognosis of this disease. Thank you in advance.
