nose looks dark after rhinoplasty?

If I put a sunless tanning lotion on my nose on day 8 after the cast came off would it cause my nose to stay permanently dark. I had an open rhinoplasty and was in the sun on day 8 but put sunless lotion on my nose and then spf 30 to protect it but it is still darker than the rest of my face....
