Has anybody ever had any experiences with being pregnant but

I'm just curious, i know my mom had her period for 3 months while she was pregnant..but i also know its a rare thing. My last period was a week late but came, wasn't as heavy as normal and no cramping like normal. I've just overall felt different..any info would help thnx :]
