Driving a minibus with diabetes?

Recently diagnosed with type 2, should I start exercising?

I was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and was wondering if I should start exercising right away, or should I wait until I know if my blood sugar is going to stay level on insulin? I'm afraid to do something wrong and have my blood sugar bottom out.
