Which things from our close surroundings are carcinogenic?

I have to say that I am afraid for my health, even though I am only 34 years old. I am saying this because both my mother and grandfather died from cancer. I would like to know which things from our close surroundings are considered carcinogenic. This might help me prevent some future problems.

about 4 years ago i was coughing up blood & my nose was bleeding ( i never have nose bleeds) but my dad wouldni take me to the doctors & i still dont know what it was. do i tell the doctors about it now?
