lump near tragus

hi. a few days ago, a lump grows near my tragus(left side of ear only). the lump is about the size of a pea and not visible externally(should be beneath the skin) but it hurts when i press down on it. can anyone explain what is it.

i have severe vertigo, echo in ears or ringing, woozy feeling in the head, n the vertigo is like my head goes back n forth n room spinning.. all this in the evening hours... im afraid i got a tumor :(

What causes NIHL?

Hi. I want to know what causes NIHL. Although being aware of decibel levels is an important factor in protecting one’s hearing, I want to know which sounds can be dangerous. I mean, are there some sounds that can particularly affect hearing. Does these sounds need to be repeated?

I have ear pain

Ive been having lots of ear pain.whenever i yawn my ears pop and it stings an hurts. i also just realized whenever they do pop it hurs the side of my neck that the ear in pain is on. i have no idea what it is so please tell me. :-(

I have a small tumor behind my right ear.Its not hurting me.But is it serious one?

Hi, On behind my right ear, there is a small tumor. just 2hours before i found it. it is not hurting me. i dont have cold or fever now. its not there on my left ear. Does it indicate any serious problem?. plz help. Regards, Sangeetha

How is NIHL diagnosed?

Hi. Every day I’m exposed to very loud noise. That lasts for a few years and now I think I have NIHL. I want to know how noise induced hearing loss is diagnosed. Do I need to go to the doctor to check my hearing level, or there is some other option?

re-occuring infections

Hi there, I am female who is 27 years old and I have a son. He has a problem with ear infections. Those happened from time to time. What can I do about them? Is this serious thing among little children? Please answer my question. I am pretty worried about this. Thank you in advance for any answer.

Have you heard of aerootitis?

I am traveling to London next month but I had a middle ear infection recently. A friend told me that people with this kind of problem should not travel by plane and she also mentioned the condition called aerootitis. Have you heard of that illness? What is it all about? Do you know?
