Partial Hearing Loss in my left ear

Hi Everyone,I am experiencing partial hearing loss and hearing a shrilling noise (I'm guessing tinnitus). Before this, I have been nursing a bad cough and was trying to remove ear wax from the said ear.If possible,can an EMT specialist kindly advise me on what to do because I'm terrified!

different color earwax in seperate ears and smell
