can excercise case missed periods?

I have started excercising since last 3-4 weeks.I run 3 miles 5 times in a week.My periods have not started althogh they were due 8 days back.Could it be because of excercise?i also have pimples and slightly swollen breasts.Home pregnancy test is negative.

Not sure about this

I use caffeine to increase my workout is this bad also I consume up to 1000mg-3000mg. yes I understand the over dose is 5000mg. Well my question still stands does this help me or tire me. Oh and I take the caffeine in pill (200mg) form and coffee(100mg).
