I had gall blader surgery a year ago and now I am having pain below my liver where my gall badder wqs, can your body still produce stones after the gall badder is removed?

doctor says there is blockage at the cystic duct at the common hepatic duct area need to remove blockage and place tube to open. could be scarring or cancer.
