I have trichomycosis axillaris

Hello all, I self diagnosed myself with trichomycosis axillaris and have shaved the area, and have been using a Benzoyl peroxide wash to help clear it up. My question is, how long should it take for the odour to go away? any help is appreciated. Thanks
