Answered by a doctor

I’d wish I knew some things couple of days ago when my kid sustained a third degree burn, as the doctors called those. Luckily, it was only on a small portion of his left leg. But it looks like treating that kind of injury will take some time and I am willing to do anything necessary for him...

It has been 3 weeks since I cut my index finger with a case cutter razor blade by accident, leaving my left index finger wounded at its tip about a quarter of an inch. My finger is getting rigid and numb and I wonder if anyone knows how much longer this will take before it completely heals and the...

Lightheaded after injury at gym, sternum or abs

Answered by a doctor

2 1/2 days ago, I was at the gym lifting weights as usual. I was using a curling machine. Somehow while I was lifting, the pressure of my chest against the upper part of the bench pressed up against it in a weird way and I ended up losing my wind, feeling lightheaded. I sat down for a few minutes...

scarring after burn on face....

Today I was standing too close to a fire...something popped causing hot plastic to fall on my cheek. Thank goodness I had quick access to cold and an aloe vera plant. I was able to get the plastic off my skin. Right now this is somewhat painful and there is some swelling. You can see that there is...

HAVING CAT SCAN TOMORROW TO VERIFY LISFRANC FRACTURE

Answered by a doctor

Hi everyone! I'm new here, but happy to find this place! I'm amazed at how many people have been injured this way! My injury was much less traumatic than most. A full jar of peanut butter fell from the second shelf of my cupboard on top of my bare right foot. It hurt pretty bad for awhile, but...
