1 year after Lisfranc surgery to foot

I had Lisfranc surgery on my Left foot 1 year ago and everything was going OK until I had been wearing sandals with a toe strap which iritated my foot. Now the top part of my foot where the surgery had been is inflammed and there is swelling. Should I just ice it or go to the Dr. ?
