Swollen baby toe

My baby toe has been swollen for the last week or so now. I at first thought that I just had a blister but now I am not sure as it's not forming a pocket of fluid. It is just swollen, itchy, red and it does hurt when I walk. Is this not a blister? should I maybe go and see a doctor? or just bandaid...

Broke through fifth metatarsal, distal shaft displaced slightly. After 7 weeks no healing.

I broke the fifth metatarsal. The break is 45 degree angle through the distal shaft and is displaced somewhat. After 7 weeks, the xray looks almost identical to the original staright after the accident (fell down stairs). Doctor gave me the choice of waiting another 4 weeks to see if bone healing...
