Hello, hope someone can help.

In Dec 2006 I fell and landed on my left buttock the back (not actual heal) hard part of my shoe. I was in agony. It actually caused me to have surger in March 2008 - can you imagine the pain. The docs put me through hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, I couldnt walk for longer than about 10 mins, I couldnt stand in queues for longer than a minute!, I was off work for a year, my left hip was up further than my right. I was in absolute agony. painkillers and co-codamol were and still are my best friends lol

Anyway... I have had surgery, they removed a disc and fused plus one of the bones was bulging so they shaved that as well. The problem is I am still on the tablets because exactly where I fell on my buttock the pain is still there. I can actually press and it hurts like hell. The 600mg ibuprofen 4 times a day and the co-codamol are the only things stopping the pain from been bad!

I had a messy ultra sound which stated that there is possibly a little fluid adjacent to the bone - what the heck does that mean. the guy who did the ultra sound said there was possible scarring tissue.

Please can anyone enlighten me. I am so sure, knowing my own body, that the pain in my buttock is nothing to do with my back. I do not get any pains in my back. If I did not take the tablets I would be 'dead' as the pain is really bad.

thanks for all your help
Lisa
