Hi, I am 70+ and I have had IBS for as long as I can remember. I can go for a few years with no symptoms and then all of a sudden it will hit me with a vengeance. I had a bowel perforation which lead to my ascending colon removed. I have to have a ileostomy for 6 months and the I can have the reversal surgery. what type of problems am i looking at if i no longer have my ascending colon??????
