Stomach Gases always

I'm not sure if its inner gas but every time im sitting down in class my stomach starts making noises, it doesn't matter if i ate or not it still happens. I always have to make noises with my feet so nobody can notice the sound. Is this normal? Is it not normal? I want to know? Please HELP!! :'(

my mum can feel lumps in her stomach when she presses it and i think its painful but sh has also gt ibs and lower back pain. so i dont know if its anything to do with that.
