should people with colostomies take citrucel

I have colostomy. Also many gases, ... and very irritating bowel movement. Some of my friends recommended me citrucel, which is suppsoed to solve my problem. I am wondering if people with colostomies should take citrucel? Thanks in advance!

Is there colace in hard pill form?

I use to take colace because of problems that I have developed with digestion. I have very hard stool and have constipation very often. I take colace syrup mixed with milk and it helps. Is there colace in hard pill form? Id like to switch on hard form instead of liquid. Thanks.

Anybody with any knowledge on metmucil drug absorption??? I’m starting taking it the day after tomorrow so I’m curious about it… You know, I have HIV and I take many meds so I want to know will metimucil affect their efficiency. Thanks for all info.

I have started to take laxatives for weight loss. I know the dangers but I continue to take them. I have been sleeping a lot more and feel tired even when I get more than 9 hours of sleep. Is it the laxatives?

I have been suffering from constipation for the last fortnight or so. I tried natural laxative methods and have had some improvement, but the pain is getting worse and I am bloated and feeling awful. Now, I want to get some proper laxatives. Does anyone know what the side effects of laxatives are?
