What does everyone do with their Body Hair? I hate having hair all over my body

I'm 20 and just wondering what everyone does with their body hair. I hate having hair all over my back, stomach and chest; and especially hate armpit hair. I don't do anything below the waist, so I have a pretty hairy butt and a jungle around my penis.

Skin is painful, puffy, red when shaved hair grows back

So I'm not sure what's going on with me. I'm a guy, and I shave my groin area. Whenever the hair regrows between my scrotum and inner thigh(in the crease), the skin there gets really painful to the touch, red, puffy and (slightly) sweaty until I shave it again. Is it just chafing? How to help?
