question to a doctor about the bulbo urthral gland

Hi, I'm not sure why I was touching in that area in the first place . I've started to feel my bulbo urthral gland which is located in the perineum between the scrotum and anus. I was told there is one on each side but I only feel one of them. Is this normal? Thank you
