longer period after ablation

Has anyone else had longer periods after having an endometrial ablation? I had the barely-there spotting around my period time and then a full-blown period began and I'm now on my 9th day of that. Medium flow but no end in sight, not slowing down at all. Perhaps just the first one will be wacky?
