I have a few questions concerning a late period.
First of all, I'm 20 years old....
.....3 days before my last period (July 3rd) I was sexually involved with a guy. There was no actual penetration, but his penis did come into contact with the outside of my vagina. I know there's a small chance that pregnancy can occur from precum, but, to my knowledge, there was no precum. My period came 3 days later (July 3rd) and was completely normal. My next period, which should have come about August 3rd, didn't (or hasn't yet). I took a pregnancy test on August 5th, and it was negative....
I've also been under a lot of stress recently because I just started my student clinicals, and I've had a lot of schedule changes (like waking up super early in the morning, etc.) And I know that stress can be a big factor in making a period late...
Another thing is, I'm a vegetarian, and just recently I added Soy into my diet (I've been drinking Soy Protein shakes, and eating Tofu), and I was wondering if going from eating hardly any protein, to eating lots of protein could have an effect on my period?
And what are the chances that I could be pregnant? (I'm planning on taking another pregnancy test in the next few days if my period doesn't come....hopefully it will...).
Sorry for such a long post, I would just like some opinions. Thanks.
