under a lot of stress with work and exams and my wedding coming up next month

. Last month my period was due on the 20th but it never came . On 5th august i visited a doc and she gave me pills to start it. It did start at the end of taking pills but it was very light and reddish brown in color.. (Well usually when i get periods i have brownish spotting 2-3 days before it starts) The brownish thing lasted for 5 days and now nothing .. But on the 2nd day i got the reddish brown spots i took birth control pills for the first time in my life.. I donno whats going :'( :'( Can anyone shed some light on this.. i am really freaking out.. today i went to the doc and she said its normal but i am still worried as this has never happened to me before
